      Pre-Design Services:
Understanding our client’s goals and objectives is the most important aspect of our services. Needs assessments, and identification of the available capacities of the MEP systems that are available prior to a major renovation or addition are paramount components.

      Third Party MEP Review:
Having another set of eyes reviewing the technical aspects of the project drawings can be an invaluable part of a successful project. The Third Party review can not only catch potential design flaws, but can also provide the most cost efficient design for its owner. We pride ourselves in the ability to work with the MEP design team; not against them for a positive collaborative experience.

      Commissioning:
Commissioning of HVAC systems is more than just following a form of information and filling in the blanks. In today’s world, particularly in hospitals, the controls and sequence of operations of the HVAC systems is complex. It takes an engineer who has been designing these systems across the country to be able to interpret the design engineer’s intent, and in many cases, complete the design in the field. We have been highly successful with our clients and their buildings and have saved them money along the way.

      Value Engineering and Cost Mitigation:
Value engineering has taken on an ugly connotation over the years, largely because owners are left with little system value and a short changed feeling. Cost mitigation and value engineering doesn’t have to be a negative notion. We know what’s important to facility engineers and what can be released.

      Feasibility Studies:
An evaluation or analysis of the potential impact of a proposed project or program is a necessity in today’s world of high healthcare cost. We can provide a study that is not only effective but cost effective as well.

      Constructability Analysis:
Today’s projects are becoming increasingly more complex, constructability analysis is not an option but an indispensable element of the design process. When properly executed it will identify cost savings and minimize delays, disputes and claims during construction.

      On site Field Engineering Surveys:
Sometimes you need an experienced engineer to find HVAC problems before they become costly issues to you and the owner. Often times HVAC issues are not recognized for months or even until opposite seasons. We have helped folks identify and make recommendations for correction to HVAC, piping, equipment and building controls systems prior to ceiling installation.

      HVAC Forensic Engineering:
In today’s world of complex HVAC systems, particularly in healthcare, it has become increasingly more difficult to not only correct a HVAC issue but to find the root cause of the failure. We like to call this Forensic Engineering or troubleshooting of HVAC systems. For years we have been solving problems and offering the most cost effective solutions for our clients. This is our “bread and butter”; let us help you.
