Owner Representative:
During the design phases of a project, it is beneficial for an owner to have a technical partner representing their interest to the design team. Owners are often at the mercy of the design engineer when it comes to chillers, boilers, pumping systems, specifications, air distribution, etc… An Owner Representative can help mitigate the “cookie cutter” design and work with the design team for the most efficient, cost effective and appropriate solutions. |

HVAC Troubleshooting:
Problems with building air side system, water side system, or building control system are usually ones that cannot be defined by a simple look in side a cabinet. At times it means the elimination of several scenarios or performing tests to find the root issue. We have the expertise to find the problem and recommend the most cost effective corrective actions to get your system performing at its best. |

Third Party MP Review:
Having another set of eyes reviewing the technical aspects of the project drawings can be an invaluable part of a successful project. The Third Party review can not only catch potential design flaws, but can also provide the most cost efficient design for its owner. We pride ourselves in the ability to work with the MP design team; not against them for a positive collaborative experience. |

Mechanical Pricing Narrative:
Some projects like fuel oil tank replacement, chiller replacement, cooling tower change out, etc… are more engineering intensive than architectural. We can provide a comprehensive engineering narrative for a defined scope of work that can then be given to a contractor for budgetary pricing or, solicited to MP firms for competitive bidding. |

|
HVAC Equipment Assessment:
An evaluation or analysis of the facility HVAC systems and recommendations for improvements or replacement. Life expectancy would be given and potential impact of a proposed project or program. This will help you make an informed decision for budgeting of capital projects. |

|
Constructability Analysis:
Today’s projects are becoming increasingly more complex, constructability analysis is not an option but an indispensable element of the design process. When properly executed it will identify cost savings and minimize delays, disputes and claims during construction. |

|
Facility Operations Consulting:
We will work with you and your staff to understand how you currently operate your air and water side systems and then make recommendations for operational improvements. We will also review your HVAC control sequence of operations and make recommendations for efficiency improvements. |
|
|
|
Strategic Facility Planning:
Long term planning and strategies will completely miss the mark if the HVAC systems are not processed accordingly. Clients want to partner with their consultants every step of the way so that the facility component makes sense with the programming of long term measures. |

Commissioning:
Commissioning of HVAC systems is more than just following a form of information and filling in the blanks. In today’s world, particularly in hospitals, the controls and sequence of operations of the HVAC systems is complex. It takes an engineer who has been designing these systems across the country to be able to interpret the design engineer’s intent, and in many cases, complete the design in the field. We have been highly successful with our clients and their buildings and have saved them money along the way. |
